Visa Regulations

Who does not need a visa

Citizens of all countries of the European Union, Switzerland, Israel, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, most of the countries of North and South America and some other countries do not need a visa, only a valid passport is required to enter Austria. In case of doubt please contact the Austrian Consulate or Embassy well in advance before departure.
Visa-free travel is allowed with a biometric passport for citizens from the following countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia.

 

Who needs a visa

Travellers requiring a visa can travel freely throughout the Schengen zone for three months with a Schengen visa issued by any Schengen country. Obtaining a visa entitling you to visit one Schengen country automatically entitles you to travel to and from all the other Schengen countries too.

Current member countries of the Schengen treaty are Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

Meeting attendees who have submitted a scientific abstract are eligible for travel grants. We would particularly invite students, post docs and early career scientists to apply. If you want to apply for a travel grant please send your CV to tschuertz@mondial-congress.com.

Abstracts may be submitted in English only. Authors will be able to draft the abstracts online and may return to the site to edit the texts of the abstracts if necessary. Authors are free to finalise their texts and submit their abstracts at any time before Thursday, September 20, 2018, 11:59pm CET+1.

During the submission process, authors may indicate their preferred presentation type (Oral presentation or poster presentation). The final decision in regards to the presentation type, however, will be taken by the Scientific Committee. Submission of an abstract constitutes a commitment by the author to present at the congress if accepted.

No changes can be made after this deadline.

Notification of acceptance and information regarding presentations will be forwarded to the authors immediately after the reviewing process by e-mail the latest by Monday, October 1, 2018. If an abstract is accepted it is mandatory for the presenting author to attend the congress.

Modalities of free paper and poster presentations will be sent with the notification of acceptance. Accepted posters will be accessible to delegates in the poster exhibition area.
For an abstract to be included in the final scientific programme, it is mandatory for the presenting author to register for the congress and to settle payment as soon as the notification of abstract acceptance is received (Monday, October 1, 2018) and not later than Wednesday, October 10, 2018.

By submitting an abstract, copyrights are transmitted automatically to the Inflammatory Skin Disease Summit. Abstracts will be published in a supplement of the Experimental Dermatology as they have been received.
